Ultrasound
Ultrasound therapy (therapeutic ultrasound) is a non-invasive treatment that uses sound waves to improve circulation, break up scar tissue, and promote tissue healing by speeding up the transport of blood to the affected area. A person can feel a little heat or slight vibration with the therapy. It can be done in combination with electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) for extra benefits! Common uses of ultrasound therapy include low back pain, neck pain, rotator cuff tears, meniscus tears, ankle sprains, tendonitis, and bursitis.
