Decompression Therapy
Decompression (Traction or Mechanical Traction) is a non-surgical treatment that uses a specialized table to gently stretch the spine, relieving pressure on spinal discs and nerves. This stretching helps reduce pressure within the spinal discs, which can help to draw fluids and nutrients back into the discs, potentially rehydrating them and promoting healing. By decreasing pressure on the discs and surrounding tissues, decompression therapy can help alleviate pain and nerve compression, and also help retract bulging or herniated discs. Some conditions that it can help with are chronic back, neck, or leg pain, sciatica, herniated or bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, and pinched nerves.
